Welcome to Henry, your spacious off-grid escape with breath-taking views over the Mary Valley, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. A spacious, modern cabin with everything you need for a weekend or longer getaway. Henry is located in the serene grounds of an 80 acre, certified organic avocado farm and offers guests a sanctuary to reconnect with nature. Powered entirely by solar energy and gas, this eco-conscious retreat allows you to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Henry is spacious and modern and larger than a tiny home. The open-plan living, kitchen and sleeping areas provide a sense of space and serenity and are the backdrop for the spectacular view from every part of the cabin. Henry sleeps 2 in a plush king-size bed and room for an extra adult or 2 small children in a pull-out sofa bed in the lounge. The bathroom features a large, walk-in shower with full length window to let in light and provide a view of nature. The lovely, light green decor of the bathroom adds both a feeling of peace and luxury. A comfy couch on the deck allows you to watch the sunrise over the mountains while sipping on your morning cuppa. The outdoor seating area features hand-made chairs, a BBQ and firepit. Wood is provided for your use. The cabin is located on a hill in the avocado orchard, overlooking the picturesque Mary Valley. You will absolutely love Henry and the feeling of peace, tranquility and the ability to switch off from the world that he provides.

My husband and I live on an 80-acre certified organic avocado farm in Amamoor, QLD’s Mary Valley. We offer two off-grid tiny homes, Henry and Claudine, for relaxing stays. Passionate about regenerative, organic, and biodynamic farming, we prioritise growing nutritious food, recycling and eco-friendly living. Guests can unwind, reconnect with nature and enjoy our farm’s beauty. We also have a beachfront house in Toogoom, near Hervey Bay, offering tranquillity and a relaxing beach escape.

* Checkin is self checkin - door unlocked. * Henry is completely off-grid. * The water is heated by gas and the lights, fridge and power outlets are solar powered. * Please be mindful of water and power consumption. * Henry is fed by fresh rain & creek water. We drink it (and love it!) but you may choose to bring your own drinking water for your stay. * Mobile reception is excellent, although you may find yourself forgetting your devices to reconnect with nature. * Access to the cabin is fairly steep over farm tracks and suitable for all vehicles when the weather is clear. Use caution in wet weather. We’re nearby to assist if necessary. * Please smoke outside only. * Use the rubbish bins provided - general household, recycling, 10c bottles and food scrap bins. You’re welcome to take your bottles. * Cooking is done on an electric hob or BBQ. * We have a septic system, so please only toilet paper down the toilet. Use the bins provided for all other items. * There is a firepit with limited wood for you to use. Be aware this may not be available in dry conditions. * Henry is located on a working farm, there will be vehicle and animal noise at times. * You are in a rural setting, so be aware when walking around the property. * You may encounter a critter or insect inside. * We endeavour to keep the cabin spotless but we do not have control over the wildlife.

Moderate - Full refund given if a guest cancels more than 5 days before their scheduled arrival date. If 5 days or less notice is given, the host retains 50% of the full booking fee. If 24 hours or less notice is given, the host retains the full booking fee.
