The villa features three spacious king bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen, cathedral ceilings, and a striking hand-built stone fireplace in the lounge. Outside, a second handcrafted fireplace—evoking the charm of a forgotten ruin—creates a magical spot for stargazing and fireside conversation. Thoughtfully designed for comfort and connection, OCRE is ideal for couples, friends or small groups looking to escape the noise of everyday life. Sustainability is deeply embedded in the guest experience. The estate is supported by solar power with battery storage, runs entirely on rainwater, and uses environmentally responsible amenities and cleaning products. Hi, I’m Angela, owner and manager of Old Coach Road Estate, the 2024 Qantas Australian Tourism Award winner for self-contained accommodation. Set on our beautiful 201-acre property in South Australia’s Hindmarsh Valley, overlooking Victor Harbor, OCRE is a private retreat where guests reconnect with nature and each other. My husband Peter and I have spent decades restoring the land. We host one group at a time, with sustainability and local sourcing prioritised. It’s a joy to share this special place.

Strictly no parties, no pets, no smoking, and no children under 12 years of age.

Moderate - Full refund given if a guest cancels more than 5 days before their scheduled arrival date. If 5 days or less notice is given, the host retains 50% of the full booking fee. If 24 hours or less notice is given, the host retains the full booking fee.
