Terra Rosa Haven is a unique, hand-crafted retreat nestled among towering trees, just 5 km from Denmark town. This rustic, peaceful home is designed for those seeking a slower pace, surrounded by nature. With 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, and a spacious living area featuring high, exposed wooden beams, this home is perfect for reconnecting with loved ones and immersing yourself in the beauty of the Great Southern region of W.A.
Set on 5 acres of native bush teeming with wildflowers, Terra Rosa Haven is a sanctuary where we strive to minimize our environmental impact. Each of the three generous bedrooms features luxurious queen-sized beds, accommodating up to six guests. In colder months, electric blankets are available for added warmth.
The main bedroom, with its ensuite, offers views of evergreen citrus trees merging into the native bush. The second bedroom overlooks a garden bordered by a seasonal grapevine and English Wisteria. A cozy sitting room at the end of a wide hallway includes a day bed and leads to a spacious mezzanine loft bedroom. From the Juliette balcony, guests can enjoy views of the garden and surrounding bush.
The main bathroom features a walk-in shower and an antique clawfoot bath that overlooks a private courtyard garden. For a truly unique experience, indulge in an outdoor bath while gazing at the forest or the southern night sky. All water used on the property is collected rainwater.
The open-plan living area offers stunning views of the garden and forest. Gather around the large dining table, relax on the antique club lounge sofa, or warm up by the cozy wood fireplace. An undercover day bed on the patio is the perfect spot to watch the birds and plan your day’s adventures with a cup of tea or coffee.
Built using ancient techniques, the thick earth brick walls of Terra Rosa Haven naturally regulate temperature and humidity, providing excellent protection from the Australian climate without relying on power-based heating or cooling. This home is not just for people; it’s also a habitat for local wildlife, including insects, small marsupials, birds, and other fauna, depending on the season.
Denmark offers a variety of local wines, cheeses, and gourmet foods to enjoy during your stay. The well-equipped kitchen includes a 6-burner gas stove, a large oven, a fridge, and a dishwasher. The back patio provides a spacious undercover area with a BBQ and multiple dining options to soak in the forest and night sky.

Booking Policy
House Rules
Our Home is Absolutely No Smoking or Vaping Inside.
No Open Flames including candles outside.
This very strict No Flames Outside policy is due to our forest location and bushfire risk.
Making of outside fires is strictly prohibited at ALL TIMES due to Denmark Shire Council fire safety regulations.
Anyone using an open flame outside may be removed from the property immediately without a refund.
We cannot stress how dangerous open flames are on the property for us and our neighbours. It will not be tolerated.
Strictly no pets, due to the small native animals that live around the property.
Our rates are based on two guests, sharing 1 bedroom.
As is sometimes the case eg with friends staying together, if 2 guests will be using more than 1 bedroom, please note an extra $50 cleaning & linen fee applies for using a second bedroom. This is the same if 3 guests will be using 3 bedrooms. Please let us know this at the time of booking so we can account for this charge accordingly.
An extra guest charge of $25 per person, per night applies for any additional guests after 2 guests. This will be calculated when you add your total guest numbers.
Only the number of booked guests can stay on the premise.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited on this property.
Loud music and noise is to be kept to a minimum and off by 10pm. This is in respect to our lovely neighbours and the quiet bush setting.
No moving of any furniture as this may damage the floors.
The property is not fenced so therefore be considerate of our adjoining neighbours and keep within the cleared fire breaks between properties.
A small water soak is at the back of the property and is NOT FENCED, this property is only suitable for small children if they are supervised at all times.
Cancellation
Firm - Full refund given if a guest cancels more than 5 days before their scheduled arrival date. If 5 days or less notice is given, the host retains the full booking fee.
